PT. Wakshuda Amarta Etam has successfully developed a new method to reduce the level of soil radioactivity around the rare earth industry in Pahang. Through AB101 treatment, the levels of Radium-226 and Radium-228 have been significantly reduced in a relatively short time. This achievement is an important step in efforts to protect the environment and public health from the negative impacts of radiation.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of AB101 treatment in reducing soil radioactivity levels around rare earth industries in Pahang. Soil samples were taken before and after treatment, then analyzed to measure the levels of Radium-226, Radium-228, and Potassium-40. The results showed a significant decrease in Radium-226 levels by 11.9% and Radium-228 by 12.5% ​​within 10 days after treatment. These findings indicate that AB101 treatment is effective in reducing radioactive contamination in soil and has the potential to be applied to similar locations.
